Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is the Place for a Romantic and Chilled Out Experience
If you are seeking a romantic, hill-top refuge from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok look no further than the Hua Hin Hills Vineyard. Hua Hin is a charming, but growing, sea-side town about three hours drive from Bangkok. It is the preferred family getaway for most Bangkokians and tourist families in Thailand in vacation, as it has remained very family friendly as opposed to its biggest sea-side competition - Pattaya.
Built on former elephant corral, the Vineyard is a sublime place conducive to the cultivation of grapes providing the seaside resort town of Hua Hin with its first boutique vineyard. Siam Winery started developing the site after successfully experimenting at the nearby Royal Research Station at Huay Sai in the early 2000's. Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is home to Thailand's Monsoon Valley wines a must try when visiting the Kingdom.
The outdoor seating is refreshing and sometimes rare in Thailand but the combination of cool mountain air mixed with the lush greenery of the vineyard make the alfresco experience extremely relaxing.
We at Thaifoodies.co found the hours slipping by whilst sipping our glasses of wine and nibbling tapas.
The food served at The Sala, the vineyards chic wine bar and bistro, is a perfect match for the Monsoon Valley wines produced in the sprawling 1,400 rai vineyard that affords relaxing views and soothing mountain air. Thai and continental fare is available at The Sala and of course plenty of reasonably priced wine! Thaifoodies recommends you try the Wine and Tapas selection. Eat, soak up the cool air and relax....
The Vineyard also offers tours to guest showing how a tropical vineyard is managed, wine samples and of course a great retail store for your take-home needs.
A great romantic escape for couples and families The Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is a must try if travelling to Hua Hin.
