Vintage Bar at Raddison Blu - Free Flow Wine and Stunning Views

There is no shortage of watering holes in Bangkok, from the cheapest of dive bars to upscale hotels there is a venue in Bangkok for everyone to wet their whistle. Thaifoodies wanted to try a more upscale local and in this review we decided to review the Vintage Bar's free flow wine offer in the new Raddison Blu hotel located between Sukhumvit Soi 25 and 27 - an easy walk from either the Asoke BTS or the Phong Station BTS station.
On the 29th floor of the Raddison Blue the Vintage Bar is a chill, interior spot that affords great views of mid Sukhumvit Road in air conditioned comfort. The Vintage Bar is currently running a great free flow wine promotion that features an all-you-can-eat cold cut and cheese buffet at only 699 Baht per person (US$20) which is a great value. The wine on offer, two types of red and white, the type of wine depends on when you visit but for our review they were offering Genesis, a Chilean vineyard that produces a nice, very drinkable wine. Vintage Bar is offering this promotion only on Thursday and Fridays from 6 PM to 9 PM so call ahead to book your table.
The service, as expected in a fine hotel, is excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable, with high-backed, well cushioned chairs and large low set tables that offer easy access to your refreshments without interrupting your discussion with friends. There is also a smoking room for the convenience of those who wish to have a quick smoke but don't want to travel all the way back down to the ground floor.
The snacks on offer were tasty and plentiful. A good selection of cheeses and cold cuts with a variety of breads, crackers and dips to accompany your wine.
If you are seeking a chill-out spot with great night time views of Bangkok, for a very reasonable price, then stop by the Vintage Bar for their great free flow wine offer and enjoy.
