100 Baht Lunch Buffet - Awesome Value at Park Plaza Hotel Asoke 16

Co2 Park Plaza Buffet Lunch Review | thaifoodies.co

Bangkok has often been called heaven for foodies and while there is absolutely no lack of amazing restaurants in Bangkok finding a quick and inexpensive place to eat can be a challenge. Some folks opt for a quick bowl of noodles by the street near their office and while the food may be yummy and cheap the atmosphere is somewhat lacking. This is especially relevant now as we enter summer and daytime temperatures will reach the high 90s.

Fear not lunch seekers as the thafoodies team has found a fantastic lunch spot that offers great food that is all-you-can-eat, inside with air conditioning, and only 100 Baht ++. Ladies and Gentlemen we give you the daily lunch Buffet from Co2 at the Park Plaza Hotel in Asoke Sukhumvit Soi 16.

Monday through Friday from noon to 14:30 you can enjoy tasty, high quality food and free flow soft drinks at the Park Plaza's Co2 restaurant located in the 2nd floor of the hotel. When the thaifoodies team visited we enjoyed a Thai buffet but the menu does change daily with a pasta buffet sometimes on offer. Give the hotel a call at 02-263-5000 before you go to check on what the daily offer is and to book yourself a table.

The atmosphere at Co2 is cozy with table and comfortable decor chairs to chose from. The staff at Co2 are all super friendly and always eager to help you enjoy your repast.

The thaifoodies team enjoyed a nice variety of Thai dishes during our visit.

We had a lovely fruit salad with dragon fruit ,apples and cashews. Light and fresh, a great way to start off a meal.

Thai Lun

One of my personal favorites, Thai chicken and cashews with roasted chilis was on offer and it was super-yummy. Not spicy at all.

Next up was a lovely fried white fish with vegetables and Thai chilies. So tasty!

Co2 also had a lovely Tom Yum Gai which is variation of the famous Thai Tom Yum Gung but with chicken instead of shrimp. Only a tad spicy, fresh and clean in taste with wonderful lemongrass aroma.

Lastly, a nice mixture of fresh greens with mushrooms in oyster sauce. Mild and flavorful with fresh steamed jasmine rice.

The lunch buffet also features a platter of fresh seasonal fruit to round out your meal. We had papaya, watermelon dragonfruit, and pineapple - all so fresh!

So if you are looking for a comfortable budget lunch spot in downtown Bangkok you will be hard-pressed to beat the value of the daily lunch buffet by Co2 at Park Plaza.

With plenty of parking and only a short walk from the Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MTR this is one lunch buffet you have to try. You will thanks us!

Thaifoodies intrepid critic Babe also stayed at the Park Plaza for a night to review the hotel in addition to the buffet. She found the rooms to be comfortable and well designed. The Hotel's proximity to the BTS and MRT make the Park Plaza a great choice for visitors who want to stay in the downtown area but who are on a budget. The rooms are a great value!
