Open at 6PM Bangkok Heights is a must for the cocktail lover. Featuring 12 Signature Thai cocktails that please the eye as much as the tongue, you must experience these drinks to believe them! The atmosphere in Bangkok Heightz is intimate with low lighting that accentuates the amazing views of Bangkok from the comfort of your table.
Stunning views and amazing Thai Cocktails would normally be enough for most venues but Bangkok Heightz takes it a step further by offering authentic Thai Cuisine presented in a fantastic visual style.
We started with fried dumplings filled with spicy ground lamb. A wonderful play of flavours when topped with the light plum sauce - so yummy!
We HAD to try the Pork Satay and we were delighted! Perfectly marinated and grilled pork skewers served with a lovely peanut sauce and vinegar with red onion dip.
No review would be complete without trying the Thai staple - Tom Yum Gung. Unlike many places Bangkok Heightz strives for authenticity in all its dishes. The Tom Yum soup was SPICY! Very spicy but refreshing and delicious with the chili and lemongrass a fantastic accompaniment to the sweet prawn in the soup.
Arguably the most popular Thai dish in the world Pad Thai Gung is served with flair at Bangkok Heightz but not lacking in authentic flavor whatsoever. Absolutely amazing flavour with huge portions of sweet Thai prawns.
Our last dish was a favorite from Northeastern Thailand Grilled Chicken with Som Tum (Papaya Salad). The chicken was so tender and the skin crispy. You may have tried this dish several times but believe us it is special at Bangkok Heightz. The Som Tum was mild and tasty but if you prefer a more spicy variety the team at Bangkok Height will happily oblige. Served with roasted garlic, a spicy Thai dipping sauce and plenty of roasted chillies!
Dessert was ripe mango with sticky rice and coconut milk - very authentic in taste and exciting in presentation. The mango was especially lovely! We also had a very traditional and yummy Bua Loi which is thai rice dumplings served in warm coconut milk. A must if you have never tried before.
Bangkok Heightz is only a short walk from both the BTS station at Asoke and the MTR at Sukhumvit. They open everyday at 6 PM but reservations are encouraged as they do get busy after & PM. You can call contact them at:
