The Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok is located on Sukhumvit Road - the main thoroughfare in Bangkok, for shopping, eating and sightseeing.
Only a short walk from either the Asoke BTS and MTR or the Phrom Pong BTS making your travel around town easy - no traffic jams on the skytrain!
A short walk from the hotels sees three major shopping venues; Emporium, Emporium 2, Terminal 21, Robinson's Department Store, Villa, Tops supermarkets and multiple 7-11s!

Super comfy beds and pillows - we had a great night's rest at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok

Facilities
The rooftop pool at the Radisson is very nice and open - work on that tan! Great views of the Bangkok Skyline - Nice pool bar ESC (tasty Thai snacks!)
The Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok also features a well equipped gym for that on-the-road workout you want
We didn't get a chance to try the ESC Spa this trip but if you want to be pampered try out SPA ESC - book early as they get very busy!
A nice touch at the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok is the Grab N Run breakfast - a special table in the lobby has takeaway coffee and tea with fresh fruit and energy bars if you don't have the time for a sit down breakfast

Attico - Set on the 28th level with brick-and-barrel walls that evoke the feeling of an inviting Tuscan villa, Attico treats diners to a taste of Italy in the heart of Bangkok. Changing with Italy’s seasons, the menu features some of the country’s most sought-after ingredients like Tomahawk steaks and T-bone cuts from legendary Chianina cattle. The chef and sommelier work together to create alluring pairings of food and fine wine that surprise and excite even the most knowledgeable connoisseurs of Italian fare. When making a reservation, request a seat on one of the two alfresco balconies for stunning city views.
China Table - Bruce Hui, the chef de cuisine at China Table, has created a heritage-inspired menu featuring traditional Cantonese flavors with contemporary plating. The Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok has 5 different bars for your relaxation and enjoyment. The Thaifoodies team has reviewed 2 already - Vintage Bar and Brewski - told ya we were fans! Check out a little bit about each bar below.
B/Sharpe - Dive into Blu with a juicy burger and cool drinks on tap as you watch the city ebb and flow. In the afternoon, feast on a selection of afternoon sweet treats, and in the evenings, lose yourself in soothing live music as a sophisticated urban vibe takes hold.
B/Sweet - B/Sweet’s jewelry-style display case draws the eye with tantalizing pastry and confectionary creations, all complemented by fine loose-leaf teas and premium coffees.
ESC - Located by the sun terrace and pool and offering sparkling city views, the hip atmosphere of Bar Esc is inspired by Miami. Guests can lounge on the pool deck with refreshing cocktails during the day and return at night for a relaxed ambience. Pair your drinks with snacks like the Vietnamese summer rolls, or enjoy Pad Thai with fresh shrimp for lunch. The poolside dishes and a separate kids' menu are served all day long.
Vintage - A black marble bar top, leather furnishings, rich wood accents and the sounds of Sinatra create a classy, old-world setting at Vintage. Guests soak up gorgeous panoramas of Bangkok from the huge windows that surround this bar on the hotel’s 29th floor. Join us weekly for tastings and pairings, and impress clients with a visit to the private cigar room. Brewski - Located on the hotel's 30th floor, Brewski is the highest craft-beer rooftop bar in Bangkok. The bar offers 100 craft brews and ciders plus 12 on tap, always kept cold by a state-of-the-art cooling system, to add taste and sparkle to the panorama of city lights. We really like Brewski with the eclectic collection of Craft beers and beautiful people - it is a place to see and be seen. Cool and hip - come early as it fills up quickly just as the sun sets and the music and beers start flowing. The dining is very good with a small but tasty selection of dishes to accompany your brews - Check out the 2 foot hot dog! Service
Polished and professional, the team and the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok are an exercise in efficiency
Most staff are genuinely warm and extremely accomodating - the only exception would be the rooftop bar Brewski - the staff are very nice but be prepared to do a lot are raising and gesturing if you want someone to visit your table. Vintage by comparison benefits from SUPERIOR service - we love a night of wine and tapas at Vintage.
Overall a great showing by Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok we felt very well taken care of and most staff really gave us that warm Thai smile from the heart.
Verdict
If you are looking for a competitively priced city hotel that offers a level of luxury found only in most high-priced hotels, that is located dead center in the heart of Bangkok then book your room at the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok now - you will thanks us!
