CRAFT Bangkok - Superior Beers & Gourmet Eats in Asoke

Craft Bangkok | thaifoodies.co

CRAFT Bangkok located in Sukhumvit Soi 23, more commonly known as Soi Cowboy, a rowdy soi popular with expats and affluent locals alike for its exciting vibe, international pubs and of course the go-go bars of Soi Cowboy. An relaxing spot to imbibe a cold craft beer and watch Bangkok rush by. CRAFT also has another location at 981 Silom Road if you live closer to that area.

Nestled in the middle of one of Bangkok's liveliest sois is CRAFT. A heaven for those seeking sophisticated craft beers and surprisingly delicious food al fresco within easy walking distance from the Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MTR.

There is no lack of pubs in this crowded soi but if you are looking a a great selection of 170 Craft beers, 40 of these on tap, from around the world then look no further then CRAFT Bangkok. The Thaifoodies team recently stopped by for a few pints of yummy craft beer and to sample some of the tasty eats at CRAFT.

Drinking and dining at CRAFT is al fresco, with limited cover provided by a partial roof. In the event of rain however most of the lounging area is unfortunately exposed to the elements. Seating is varied - long, high tables mixed together with small round wagon wheel type tops and comfy couches affording a spot to chill for one and all. Check out our slideshow below to get a feel...

It's a popular spot spot so avail yourself of their booking service and make a reservation as it gets busy almost every night. CRAFT is great for meetup with friends after work or just a quiet drink with your special someone. Smoking is allowed with cigars being popular.

We started out with pints of La Trappe, Mid Mountain Mild Ale, and Tuatara Pale Ale these were served quickly and appropriately cold. These were great of course but a recommendation from PR whiz Khun Pammy had us drinking Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar - AMAZING and a must try next time you visit CRAFT. Our beer sampling well under way it was time to try out the fare at CRAFT.

We decided to sample the Sriracha burger, a spicy Thai-take on a cheeseburger. Delicious with just the right amount of bite to require a generous slug of whichever potable you have to hand. Followed by a lovely baked Honey Ham and Cheese sandwich - delicious and a must try! Of course a few Thai dishes are required so we opted for a dish of deep fried pork and another of sliced pork neck - generous portions and scrumptious both. Lastly we tried the Wagyu Beef - thick slices of tender beef, wonderful! - new to the menu at CRAFT and sure to be a winner! Click on any pic to enlarge:

Craft beers run on average about 300+ baht per pint with entrees between 250 Baht - 450 Baht each. More expensive than local beers but the quality is well worth it. Stop by Craft and tell them Thaifoodies sent you - You'll thank us!
