Banyan Tree Bangkok's Vertigo Too - Gourmet Cuisine in the Sky!
Vertigo Too on the 60th floor of the Banyan Tree Bangkok on Sathorn Road is a new chic hot spot just underneath the very popular Vertigo Restaurant and Moon Bar. Vertigo Too is an indoor venue, which is great considering Bangkok's unpredictable weather. Vertigo Too has a very chic club-like feel, featuring chill, live music, signature cocktails, gourmet cuisine, and stunning view of Bangkok all in air conditioned comfort. We love the cool couch-like seats and the fact that almost every table give you an amazing view of the Bangkok skyline.
The Thaifoodies team had only recently visited Vertigo Too for Chef Stefan Heilemann's presser but were very eager to come back to experience the in-house menu as well. You can check out our video of Chef Stefan's event below:
While we already knew that Vertigo Too is a swanky, upscale destination for drinks, live music and views we had not yet experienced the cuisine and were eager to dive in! First though a big thanks to the team at Vertigo Too who gave us awesome service and hooked us up with this amazing table! Have a look below!
We started off our evening with a lovely Crab mousse with roe. The flavors were subtle and the crab so very fresh and sweet - the perfect way to get our appetites going.
We next tried the Hokkaido Scallops Kataiti. This dish is incredible! A must try when visiting Vertigo Too. The scallops are so lovely and sweet. Each scallop is rolled in a french fried noodle giving a counter balance to the tender flesh of the meat. A truly inspired dish!
A classic, and a signature dish of Vertigo Too, Duck Breast with Orange sauce. A perfect interpretation of the French classic. The duck was so very tender with crispy skin. The citrus flavors of the orange and berry sauces accent this beauty.
Our last main on the evening was a Beef Medallion with roasted potatoes. Like all our dishes at Vertigo Too this was a work of art, beautiful to behold and even better to consume. We could almost cut the medallion with our forks it was so tender. Simply Divine!

Vertigo Too is part of the 5 Star Banyan Tree Bangkok so expect 5 star prices when eating and drinking here but in our opinion it is well worth it as the cuisine is inspired. We were pleasantly surprised to see so such high quality cuisine in such a hip establishment as Vertigo Too. We should also point out that the service we had on the evening was impeccable even though the place was packed!
Vertigo Too is perfect place to start or end your evening with cocktails in the sky. A special destination for an intimate meal with your loved one or friends.
Be sure to call ahead as vertigo Too fills up quickly once the live music starts so as to ensure you get a great place to chill out.
