Rendezvous Bar at the Landmark Bangkok recently held a posh wine tasting for an evening of great wines and tasty tapas. This latest event, An Italian Wine Tasting featured a smaller but elegant selection of 15 wines from G Four Fine Wines - a lovely Prosecco Follador Veneto to start. The white wines on offer were - a Villa Martina Sauvignon, an Albeo Grechette Chardonnay, a Bianco Toscana Genesi, a Piemonte Gavi conte di alari, a Zenata Lugana San Benedetto, and a Villa Martina Friuli venezia Chardonnay. Red wines on the night were - a Villa Martina Merlot, A La Carraia Sangiovese, a Ruber Cabernet Sauvignon, a Villa Martina Cabernet Sauvignon, a La Carraia Montepulciano D' abruzzo, a La Carraia Genesi Chianti, a La Carraia Tizzonero, and a Donna Marzia Primitivo.
It was a more intimate affair with the lights down low and comfy sofas spread across the bar so wine lovers could sit back and enjoy the wine selection, yummy tapas, and toe-tapping live entertainment.
