On the mezzanine floor of the Intercontinental Bangkok is the opulent Summer Palace restaurant - replete with stunning Chinese decor that grabs the eye with a beautiful traditional Chinese design and the appetite with tantalizing aromas.
Summer Palace is the quintessential Chinese family restaurant with ample room for large groups extended family to enjoy the mouth-watering Chinese cuisine both in the large main dining room or in one of the several, exclusive, private dining rooms. We were seated in one of the private room - SO POSH!
The Saturday and Sunday DimSum Buffet at Summer Palace is an extraordinary offer that not only includes an all-you-can-eat dim sum buffet of freshly made traditional Dim Sum brought to your table as ordered but also includes set dishes of seasonal veggies, a selection of main courses, Congee, fried rice and noodles and desserts. We found the Dim Sum to be of amazing quality, clearly freshly made and prepared perfectly not easy when you have over 40 different types on offer. Another thing Summer Palace gets right is the sauces, they are plentiful and a wonderful accompaniment to the scrumptious dishes of offer.
