Fireplace Grill and Bar's Guest Chef - 2 Michelin Star Chef Jean-Marc Banzo, an Evening of Sophi
The Thaifoodies team was recently invited to join an exclusive dining event at Fireplace Grill and Bar in the Intercontinental Hotel Bangkok with guest chef Jean-Marc Banzo.
Chef Banzo is a renowned French chef who has the distinction of being the youngest, at the time, Chef to ear a Michelin star at the age of only 26 in his native France. Chef Banzo now a two Michelin star chef hailing from the Aix-en-Provence in France - created a sophisticated, 6-course wine-pairing menu for his visit to Fireplace Grill and Bar featuring; Layered Duck Foie Gras Terrine, Open Ravioli of Escargot, Sea Urchin Souffle, Mediterranean Pie of Squid and Lobster, Roulade of Veal Sweetbread Brochette, and a Lemon Tiramisu as the final touch.
The Thaifoodies team have visited Fireplace Grill in the past and are big fans of what is one of the best steak houses in Bangkok but this event was of an entirely different flavor - excuse the pun.
