PALA PIZZA ROMANA – REALLY, REALLY GOOD ITALIAN IN ASOKE, BANGKOK
Time for another installment of our more relaxed, organic reviews – this time at Pala Pizza Romana located on the ground level of the Asoke BTS station or the Sukhumvit MTR station depending on where you came from.
This wonderful eatery has room for about 40 diners per turn. The dining area is compact but comfortable. Be prepared for a fast turnover, guests coming and going constantly, Pala Pizza Romana is always busy. This special venue features an extensive selection imported cold cuts, cheeses, pizzas, pastas and desserts that you can eat in or take out. They even have a nice order window outside the entrance where you can order your favorite on the go. Pizza is about 100 Baht per slice or around US$3.

For our visit we enjoyed some of Babe’s personal favorites during our visit including Truffle Salami, olives in olive oil, prosciutto and gorgonzola salad, 3 different kinds of pizza – 5 cheese, Capricciosa, and Brie & Speck (you can order by the slice!). We recommend you try a few different types as the are all so very yummy! We rounded out our meal with a lovely pork cheek pasta with pecorino cheese.
