Costa Well Resort Pattaya Review in Bang Saray - A Quiet, Family Friendly Getaway
Intrepid food critic and burgeoning travel expert Babe continues her journey outside of Bangkok with a visit to a new resort just a short drive outside of Bangkok - the Costa Well Resort Pattaya. This chic resort was designed as an homage to resorts on exotic Santorini island in Greece.
All photos and video were taken at the Costa Well Resort Pattaya by Thaifoodies.
In this installment Babe will show you the stylish rooms of Costa Well Resort Pattaya, the wonderful rooftop views - great Thai food of course and a trip into Bang Saray village to check a local Thai seafood market - Let's go!
Bang Saray Beach is a pleasant and quiet stretch of coast near but not in hectic Pattaya city. Bang Saray is a very small, quaint town that retains a local vibe. It is only just becoming popular as a family friendly alternative to Pattaya's hedonism, giving you the chance to enjoy relaxing days where you have the beach almost to yourself and an endless supply of freshly caught seafood!
Check out out video review of Costa Well Resort Pattaya below:
The rooftop of Costa Well Resort Pattaya features a swimming pool, fitness room and several loungers to chill out and take in the sea views of both Bang Saray and central Pattaya.
Babe stayed in the 55 sq/m - Deluxe Ocean View Jacuzzi Room, #603 which starts at 2,833 Baht / $85.
From the Costa Well Resort Pattaya Website:

The breakfast buffet at Mykonos is compact but satisfying. While offering continental favorites like made to order eggs and fresh coffee/juices the fare is very Thai with boiled rice, fried rice, stir fried noodles, ham, sausage and toast with assorted jams.
The Costa Well restaurant offers "very delicious Thai food" - a direct quote from Babe so you know it's good!
Babe sampled a chilled, fresh, young coconut for starters, a prawn stir fry with bell peppers, Tom Yum Goong soup served in a young coconut, deep fried fish in a sweet and sour sauce, and lastly a Thai style Omelette stuffed with minced pork. These dishes range from 120 Baht ($3.30) to 350 Baht ($10.50) and all feature the freshest seafood caught daily only a kilometer away in Bang Saray!
Next Babe headed into Bang Saray village to the local fresh seafood market. The resort offers a Tuk Tuk service every hour into the village. Just tell the friendly reception staff what you are looking for and they will give you the best suggestions. Be sure to watch the video review above to see Babe visiting the local seafood market and enjoying amazing and inexpensive fresh seafood cooked to order! A feast of fresh seafood for only 600 Baht (US$18) from Khun Pee Seafood.
