PART 2! Thaifoodies Trip to Pattaya & Jomtien 2018
In part 2 of our Pattaya and Jomtien Beach vacation we visit Rimpa Lapin a lovely seaside restaurant on Jomtien Beach. Rimpa Lapin is very popular with locals and tourists alike for the delicious Thai cuisine and the seaside views on offer. We suggest you sit on the outside deck to get the very best views and soothing sea breezes.
After a very long day we headed back to our wonderful room to relax on the massive balcony and soak in the sea air.
In the morning we headed down to the Port Café for breakfast and were delighted to find a good sized buffet with made-to-order breakfast treats like bacon, sausage, eggs, etc.
After our big breakfast we check out the super clean beach and huge pool that are located only steps away from the hotel.

Our lunch venue was pre-planned as intrepid Food Critic Babe knows and loves one of Pattaya’s best British pubs – The Pig and Whistle!
This was our favorite spot of the trip. The food at the Pig and Whistle is amazingly good with huge portions for value prices. If you like pubs favorites like Fish and Chips or Bangers and Mash be sure to head to the Pig and Whistle – You’ll thank us!
Our last destination of this short trip was the Silverlake Vineyard. This beautiful vineyard offers tours that take you through the wine making process. Once you finish your tour head over to the Silverlake Restaurant for a Tuscan Italian meal with some of Silver Lakes’s lovely wines! We bought a few bottles and can confirm that they are very good!
