Holmes Cafe - A Posh Cafe Serving Breakfast & Brunch
Holmes Cafe and restaurant is conveniently located on Phayathai road, You can take the BTS Skytrain to Phayathai station exit number 2 Holmes is located at The Phathumwan resort.
Holmes has a very nice atmosphere with Classic Industrial decoration, they serve Breakfast & Brunch with many delectable choices daily.
I started my Saturday with a HOT LATTE and HOT CAPPUCCINO Holmes uses coffee beans from ROOTS brand. The COFFEE taste is so rich and smooth with a touch of bitterness in the finish - lovely!
For this visit I tried the Calamari : Deep fried squid with dry chilli served with lemon and 2 kinds of sauce (Tartar sauce & Spicy mayonnaise) Extremely scrumptious crispy squid served with two kinds of sauce for for different tastes.
Boozy Brunch set : (special set menu only available on Saturdays and Sundays) Two sunny side up eggs served with Italian sausage, thick cute juicy bacon, baked beans, mix sauté mushrooms with roasted tomato & toasted bread! This value set is only 650 THB net. You can also choose 1 choice of cocktail with your set - I ordered "Mango Margarita" a refreshing sweet and sour cocktail with a little spiciness!
The pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich is made with soft homemade toasted bread stuffed with a perfectly cooked macerate pulled pork smothered in barbecue sauce and cheese.
The spaghetti creamy cabonara with bacon pancetta was next up - Al dente spaghetti stir fried with Italian bacon pancetta produces a mild & creamy taste topped with an egg yolk, parmesan & mozzarella cheese perfect when topped with a bit of black pepper!
Holmes also has many kinds of yummy homemade desserts such as Lemon Earl Grey tart, and Strawberry short cake.
