The beautiful ambiance here feels like you are in southern Italy! A huge, open kitchen and bar with authentic pizza oven features prominently in warm indoor dining area.
Alfresco dining is also available in the beautiful garden among towering tropical trees.
We sampled a variety of dishes from the inspired Figs menu.
First served was a homemade Foccacia bread made with wheat flour, extra virgin olive oil, seasoned withed rosemary and topped with cherry tomatoes. Dip your slice of heaven in olive oil, balsamic vinegar or butter, the bread is so soft, the taste and scent of rosemary is delectable and the prefect start to your meal.
We ordered two handmade pasta dishes from the Figs menu. Orecchiette Al Ragu beef ragu stewed for over 12 hrs! Dressed with Caciocavallo warm cheese from Italy!
Mouthwatering, when you just mix it up together, the beef is very tender the sauce is incredible!
Another dish from the pasta menu Capellini with bottarga fish roe in orange sauce topped with sea urchin it is so yummy!
The pizza at Figs is another must try. We sampled two amazing pies - The thin crust pizza with yummy cheese and Parma, and the Seafood Pizza topped with mixed seafood pizza is also tasty!
Steamed Local Seabass topped with capers, olives, and lemon. The fresh sea bass is sweet and is just perfect with lemon and capers you don't need to add anything - perfect as is!
Puligan Style Stew features mixed seafood fresh from the ocean like prawns, scallops, sea bass, calamari, clams, mussels; the taste very absolutely scrumptious.
For dessert we sampled a Puligan warm almond tart, served with amazing amaretto ice cream ! The perfect combination of ice cream with a warm almond tart and fresh figs, and bread crumb! A must try!
Figs restaurant stocks genuine Italian spirits and boasts a wide variety of nice cocktails and wines that shouldn't be missed.
