We had an great time dinner at SALVIA Osteria at The Grand Hyatt Erawan's casual Italian restaurant.
This charming eatery serves wine with simple but exquisite food with the emphasis on local specialties such as pasta, grilled meat, and fish, served at shared tables. Every dish is a unique experience crafted by Chef Roberto Parentela's Inspiration menu from Piedmont. Enjoy Italian original recipes, like wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, handmade pasta, grapevine-grilled meats, and divine desserts. Our first dish was a homemade Foccacia bread made with wheat flour, extra virgin olive oil, seasoned with rosemary and topped with cherry tomatoes.
Dip your slice of heaven in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, or butter, the bread is so soft, the taste and scent of rosemary are delectable and the perfect start to your meal.
We then began our gastronomic journey with the following dishes. Gamberoni all’ aglio 790 thb ; Sautéed tiger prawns, garlic, parsley, butter ; Delicacy Big fresh and sweet tiger prawns
Salsiccia e broccolini 430 thb: Homemade Wood Fired Pizza Fermented flour dough proof for 48 hours. The result is a crunchy, airy crust top with mixed mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese red onion, broccoli, and Italian pork sausage
Merluzzo all’ acqua pazza 1,290 thb ; Braised cod fillet, saffron tomato broth, shellfish, olives
Polletto alla diavola 560 thb ; Pan-seared farmed chicken, pearl onions, Italian spices
Tagliata di Australian Angus beef Tenderloin 1,380 thb ; Sous vide Ribeye (Australian Angus Beef) smoked with grapevine wood, serve along with tomato-rocket salad, grana Padano, Chef will come and grill in front of your table!
Ravioletti Burro e salvia 390 thb ; Small ravioli, ricotta-lemon filling, black truffle, butter, grana Padano, sage
Paccheri neri al granchio 790 thb : A Homemade pasta Paccherimixed withSquid ink paccheri, fresh Suratthani crab, tarragon, and rich shellfish sauce the pasta was perfectly cooked, tasty sauce and sweet crab good together.
Cavolfiore gratinato 120 thb ; Baked cauliflower, bread crumbs, grana Padano... It's so incredible even the cauliflower baked with cheese and bread crumbs is so good.
Our meal was an incredible experience that provided a delightful surprise for our taste buds as we moved from dish to dish.
SALVIA serves 19 amazing Italian red wines, We sampled "Famiglia Cotarella Falesco, Trentanni, Merlot, Umbria 2017" a full-bodied and complex Italian red wine that is perfect with the delectable, and authentic Italian cuisine.
Khun Kong, (Salvia's bartender) recommended us a nice cocktails, with a lively show serve us a nice drinks.
We confirmed the NEGRONI is super amazing perfect taste! with a nice balance with scent of smoke when you drinking!
We ended our meal with good with a tasty dessert, a Baked Fig tart and Tiramisu. Our desserts were the perfect end to a perfect meal.
