The Coffee Club - Awesome Aussie-style Eats in Bangkok

This was my first visit to The Coffee Club in Bangkok. Thaifoodies.co critic Babe has of course been many times and was most eager to introduce me to this hip Aussie style eatery right on Sukhumvit Road next to the Ekamai BTS station. The Coffee Club has 7 locations in Bangkok at Thong Lor, Ekamai, Wittayu, Silom, Rajdamri, Sukhumvit 49, and Charoennakorn. and several others in Thai hots spots like Hua Hin, Pattaya, Samui and of course Phuket. However we only needed to wait about 5 mins until a table opened up. A nice little booth near the coffee bar

Banrie Coffee Shop - Thai Food, Live Thai Music, a Bangkok Must

Check out our video and please like and subscribe to our Youtube and website it would be much appreciated! Bangkok is a VERY busy, hectic city. This sometimes comes as a shock to people who visit for the first time, particularly those not accustomed to city life. It only makes sense that inevitably there will be restaurants that reflect the frenetic pace of Bangkok living. Banrie Coffee Shop is a PERFECT mirror to Bangkok life - its rough, extremely busy, loud, and an assault on the senses, but it is also fun, entertaining, definitively Thai and surprisingly good if you know what you to expect. If you are seeking 5 star service in an immaculate environment Banrie Coffee Shop is not for yo

There is no shortage of watering holes in Bangkok, from the cheapest of dive bars to upscale hotels there is a venue in Bangkok for everyone to wet their whistle. Thaifoodies wanted to try a more upscale local and in this review we decided to review the Vintage Bar's free flow wine offer in the new Raddison Blu hotel located between Sukhumvit Soi 25 and 27 - an easy walk from either the Asoke BTS or the Phong Station BTS station. Quality Mexican Eats, Margaritas and People Watching in Bangkok at Margarita Storm

One of the things I love about living in Bangkok is the vast variety of restaurants and cuisine one can enjoy simply riding the BTS train up and down Sukhumvit road. One such gem is located at the corner of Sukhumvit Road soi 13 - Margarita Storm! A short walk from either Nana or Asoke BTS stations. The Thaifoodies team stopped by Margarita Storm on a Thursday afternoon around 17:00 having been stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours (we were coming from out of town) and were badly in need of a Margarita. The Storm did not disappoint. Too early for dinner, we decided to have a couple snacks and what turned out to be a couple pitchers of frozen margarita's. While margarita's are loved the wor

The Grand Four Wings Convention Hotel - A Wonderful Discovery in Eastern Bangkok

While we typically focus our reviews on Thai restaurants and bars the Thaifoodies.co team will never pass up an opportinuty to share a pleasent experience at any Thai venue with our readers. This past weekend one of the team attended a wedding at The Grand Four Wings Convention Hotel in Srinakarin located in the Eastern part of Bangkok about 20 minutes drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Click Here to for The Grand Four Wings Convention Hotel Website The Grand Four Wings Convention Hotel is huge as one would expect from a convention hotel, but it is also beautifully decorated, staffed by typically warm and service minded Thais, and a great value if you don't need to stay in downto

360° Views of Old Bangkok at Avani Riverside Hotel's Attitude

While there are plenty of rooftop bars in Bangkok, especially up and down Sukhumvit Road, Attitude at the Avani Riverside Hotel offers a breathtaking views of old Bangkok and the famous Chao Phraya river. Attitude is a popular spot for both locals and tourists to enjoy a cocktail from Attitude's resident mixologist. Watching Attitude's chefs prepare your favorite tapas whilst drinking in the views and listening to the DJ's soulful beats. Attitude gets busy Thursday through Sunday so Thaifoodies.co suggests you come early or call ahead to ensure you have your preferred table. Inside seating is available for those who really want to stay out of the wind and enjoy air conditioning but to us

Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is the Place for a Romantic and Chilled Out Experience

If you are seeking a romantic, hill-top refuge from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok look no further than the Hua Hin Hills Vineyard. Hua Hin is a charming, but growing, sea-side town about three hours drive from Bangkok. It is the preferred family getaway for most Bangkokians and tourist families in Thailand in vacation, as it has remained very family friendly as opposed to its biggest sea-side competition - Pattaya. Built on former elephant corral, the Vineyard is a sublime place conducive to the cultivation of grapes providing the seaside resort town of Hua Hin with its first boutique vineyard. Siam Winery started developing the site after successfully experimenting at the nearby Royal

Tasty Thai Food in a Traditional Thai Atmosphere at Ruen Mallika!

Ruen Mallika is located in Sukhumvit soi 22, easily accessible by taxi or a short walk from The BTS via the Phrom Pong Station. A big, converted Thai-style house exudes traditional ambiance from the old-style decorations to the wonderfully attentive staff wearing traditional Thai dress. Ruen Mallika has a nice outdoor dining area filled with trees that makes you forget you are in the middle of busy Bangkok. They have a second branch located at Crystal Design Center but this is not in the downtown Bangkok area. The Thai food at Ruen Mallika is very tasty but not overly spicy making it great for folks who love Thai food but can't handle extremely spicy fare. Of course you can always ask yo
